The Land of WAR

[Weiss]

"There's work that needs to be done simpleton. I've no time to waste with games when so much can be accomplished." he said, turning to face Lein, his left hand glowing with a cyan aura that began to grow larger and larger into some sort of orb. He chuckled, the spears from his spine retracting, the orb in his hand growing larger and larger.

Lein grinned and held out his right hand as he did lightning began to collect and form into a ball growing larger matching Weiss "I will not let you continue your senseless killings Weiss I will stop you as the protector of War."

[Weiss]

"Then your name will be the next one on the casualty list." he said with a soft smile on his face, letting the orb of energy fall to the ground and solidify into a dense ball. The ball bounced on the cracked ground a bit before seeping into the ground and disappearing. Weiss bowed slowly as a large pillar of cyan energy would blast out from the ground under Lein with no warning whatsoever.

Lein stared at Weiss "The hell did you ju......." Lein didn't get to finish his sentence as he was engulfed by then energy.

[Lance]

Chris walked off into the forest helping Animosa along.

Chris's energy would continue to rise as he looked down at the ground thinking about the new man, somehow it seemed as though Chris knew this man.

Upon reaching a cabin within the woods Chris opened the door taking Animosa over to the bed and sitting her down upon it.
"There you should rest up and give time to get yourself back into shape."

Chris turned towards the door placing his last pistol in a cabinet filled with several mags of ammo.

[Lance]

Zeke walked further into the forest staring at the ground as his anger grew.
"I couldn't protect Nathan...I always got in the way...Apaichi died saving him i've always been a burden...never helped."
Nathans image remained in the boys head.

Zeke let out a yell slamming his right fist into the ground, the middle of the forest quaked as a large amount of ground shot straight up into the sky leaving a large crater with Zeke in the middle of it, anyone within the land would feel the earth shake.

Zeke's eyes glowed a dark blue as a liquid metal fell to the ground from his fist.
"..."

[Weiss]

Weiss simply fixed his gloves and blinked his eyes before looking around. There was just one person left around him, that is to say if Lein wasn't around anymore. Which seemed highly likely by this point.

[Jaziline]

Animosa fell into the bed unable to sleep, her brain whirling. She watched Chris move a pistol into the cabinent, she found that fact interesting, did he really need such weapons. Most powers made gun useless, but assassinations....
The ground rumbled and she snapped out her her trance. "Might as well rest where I might be safer." She mumbled before drifting off into sleep.

Chuckling could be heard from all around Weiss as Lein formed a few feet from Weiss "Now Weiss you're going to have to try harder to kill something thats already sorta dead." To prove his point Lein stck his hand through his gut and turned around to show Weiss that it went all the way through him. He then turned back around pulled out his arm and smiled "Though you did manage to destroy half of me for the time being I have no solid form. I have to admit that was a nice sneak attack."

[Jaziline]

Animosa opened her eyes and shot straight up, Her body felt lighter than air and completely refreshed. She stretched and rolled out of bed but was unable to feel the ground under her feet. She glances down and saw nothing. She yelped and heard nothing. She spun around and saw her body lying there still asleep breathing lightly. She looked around and saw a mirror and all she saw was a vague floating amber light. She moved towards it and spun around unsure what happened or why she was having such an out of body experience.

She calmed down and moved forward around the room and then out of the house, she phased through the walls easily, though she always felt a slight pull that was in the direction of her body. She supposed she wouldn't be able to loose it.

[Lance]

Chris walked out of the cabin and off into the forest soon coming out upon a large area of rubble mostly ruins from where a great castle once stood known as the guild.

Chris smiled lightly.
"So...this is what you fought to protect huh...seems so little now but i guess at one time it was something great."

A man with red hair and a scar on his forehead walked out of the forest standing at the edge of the ruins.
"Chris, we live in the present and hope for the future, do not dwell in the past as much as one may hate to accept it what once was will never be again, atleast not the same."

Chris looked at the man feeling a strange connection with him.
"How do you know who I am...who are you?"

The man looked at Chris as a dark aura emitted from him.
"I am just a distant memory."
The mans image broke out almost seeming to simply vanish from the area.

Chris stood still staring at where the man once was.
"Nathan is the only I have ever seen move that fast...who was that guy..."

[Cat]

"Like he said," Cat's voice came from behind Chris, "a memory." The bakeneko walked through the ruin. On her hip was a sheathed blade. Engraved at the base of the black sheath was a gold symbol of a cat. Her face was pale in contrast to the normal gold tint to her skin. Standing on a tall peice of rubble, Cat jumped down. "Why are you here Chris? This stage is too old for you. The real stars died with the play."

[Lance]

Chris looked at the ground.
"I promised him i would come and see this a long time ago."
"You probably knew him his name was Nathan, my brother."
Chris balled up hist fists out of pain from the loss.
He quickly looked back up smiling.

[Cat]

"I knew him well," Cat said with the tilt of her head, "while I knew Apaichi, I had never heard them speak of another brother..." she was quiet for a moment. "I didn't know a lot about Nathan though."

[Kittywhite]

Jennifer had watched the unknown man and woman leave. While the opportunity to snatch away the weakened one for experimentation and questioning at the laboratory was a thought, it was simply a brief one. Jennifer was to far away from her lab, and the man that had carried off the weakened one might pursue her. An unpleasant thought.

If she were not to follow those two, her choice was narrowed to gauging the wolf boy and figure in white as they 'fought'. It certainly did not seem to have gone in her acquaintance's favor. Because of his 'noble' sacrifice, however, Jennifer had an idea of what she just might have to deal with. Of course, with his power, she would much rather grow closer to this individual.

By now Jennifer's flames had left a circle around her, nearly 5 yards in all. It had evened out the terrain in this area, leaving only hot ash in it's place. The flames at the edge of this circle were a foot and a half tall, and almost entirely blue in color.

Animosa drifted through the area known as war as she moved she saw a woman and Chris speaking about a man named Nathan. Animosa was curious about this, the fact that the woman said that all the actors died with the play. She seemed oddly familiar as if Animosa met her before. 'A spirit eh?' Animosa heard jumping out of her plasma and turning she saw another glowing aura it was a dark purple.

'Who are you?' she asked as the spirit laughed lightly.
'One of the old actors that left with the play.' the purple spoke drifting toward Cat.
'Why are you still here? Shouldn't you be dead and with the other spirits?' Animosa asked as she drifted after the purple.
'If I were to return, then I would be revived again. This is the only way I could find peace.' the purple spoke, 'Also I am here to warn you about the Man in White. He is not what you think, he is not one with mercy or fears. He is barely a man at all. He maybe after a soul he lost long ago a soul with enough power to fuel his plan of destroying the old and replacing it with his experiments.'

'You will find the soul by the lake but first you will need to find the circle of dolls, they are hard to see since they were burned, but you will be able to find them. In the debris they surround is a pocket watch use it to find the soul before Weiss, the man in white does.' The purple soul spoke and continued to float before Animosa.

'So...' Animosa started and paused. 'Why do I have to do this?', she asked and the purple spirit started to bubble in angry.
'BECAUSE YOU MIGHT BE ABLE TO STOP HIM BEFORE HE KILLS YOU!' The spirit shouted.
'But why me?' Animosa asked as the purple spirit swarmed on her.
'Because you are the only person who can see me and if you don't I will get my body ack and send YOUR SOUL STRAIGHT TO LUCIFER!' Animosa felt the pull tugging her back and she zipped backwards until she hit her body and opened her eyes. She looked out the window and saw a raven looking in at her, 'I will be watching.'

Animosa sat up rubbing her head. "Ugh getting death threats from ghosts." She muttered and she could have sworn the raven chuckled.

[Lance]

Chris looked off to the side.
"Nathan and Apaichi sure got around while leaving me at home...."
"I was the youngest of the group and was not very experienced which is most likely why they never mentioned me."
"You say you didnt know him that well...but you both were/are guardians and part of the same group surely you two found things out about one another."

Chris looked at the ruins before looking up at the sky.
"And now there's this new guy named Weiss."

[Cat]

"Weiss..." Cat said quietly, as if talking to herself. "Nathan. Yes he was usually the one to stand up to Weiss. I..." Cat fell quiet, head turned up to the sky. "I knew the land would never be peaceful. I just hoped that maybe I'd be dead with the rest..." Her hands balled up into fists. "Chris, will you train with me? I havn't fought in a good long time." She looked back down at Chris.

[Lance]

Chris nodded lightly staring at Cat.
"Of course I will...as strong as I am I still lack in speed, I'm fast...but still not as fast as Nathan."

"And that man Weiss...I saw his speed, he dodged the beam as if it was nothing."
A bright light emitted from Chris's body.

"Do you have a place to train?"

[Sasune]

Sasune crawled within the undergrowth of the bushes, her face shoved to the ground, a thin smile gracing her lips. Red hair was pulled away from a freckled face, green eyes wide and curious.

She had heard the voices, the sounds, the explosion. She felt the heartbeats.

As she crawled, a small lizard clung to her bare shoulder, his equally green eyes searching for things he could not see, but rather heard. The pair both knew they were close, so close, that the smell of blood and flesh were as evident as if they were sulfur, a smell so strong and pungent, it was harder to ignore rather than acknowledge.

Sasune paused at the edge of the forest, her orbs scanning the scene before her, her heart hammering in her chest. The cyan pillar was so beautiful, so... bright, the female had to hold herself back from jumping out and touching it. The man that had been sealed away in it stood next to the man who created it, a transparent form of himself.That in itself was proof that the beam was not to be touched.

From her post on the ground, the girl smiled a very impish grin, and watched the scene that began to unfold.
