Cat crossed her arms as she watched the battle.
The machine landed on the ground with a light thump, it's body turned to face Chris already. As the massive beam of light came at it, the machine's blades glowed brightly as it returned it's arms into an x formation. The beam smashed into it, sending the machine skidding back. It's blades glowed even brighter before reflecting the beam right back at Chris like a laser on a mirror.
Cat tried to image the droid as Weiss, and Chris as Nathan. Absolutely mesmerized by the fight, Cat hoped the droid would remain similar to the tatics used by Weiss in battle. At least, she hope it would. In the years since she'd seen Weiss he must've grown in power.

Chris's eyes widened as the blast came back at him.
"Not enough time to dodge."
Chris held out his left hand closing his eyes.
A navy blue mist flowed from the palm of his hand as it lashed out towards the beam, upon nearing it the beam would expand and darken before exploding causing the entire room to shake and be covered in smoke.
Chris began spinning his now unsheathed katana clearing the area around him before slowly sheathing it on his back smirking lightly.
"Dead and your still teaching me new tricks brother."

Animosa walked through the forest her goggles pulled over her eyes her staff resting on her shoulders with her arms draped over them she was thinking calculating trying to figure out what the hell was going on. First she was vaporized, which probably caused the separation of her body and soul allowing it to travel. But maybe it was a dream?
"UGH! This place is too weird." She muttered looking around when the raven flew ahead of her looking back expecting her to follow. She did, the nutty bird seemed much smarter than any average beast. Then her goggles began to beep. The screen filled with numbers as the beeping continued, it was a sign that there was untapped and directed energy in the area.
She pulled off her goggles and saw the lake ahead of her. She froze watching the raven perch in a tree. "Are you expecting me to swim in that?" She asked the bird looked at her. "I know you can give me a hint at least." The bird stared unblinking. "You know that is really creeping me out." The bird remained unmoving as Animosa narrowed her eyes and tossed off her jacket pulling off her shirt and capris leaving a sports bra and underwear. She pulled her goggles over her eyes and she walked over to the water and wadded in and then dived.
She swam searching for the bead.

Cat unfolded her arms, she stared into the heavy smoke unable to see a thing. Her lips quivered with anticipation.
As the smoke cleared, the droid would in shambles.

"Pretty great show you did out there," Cat said with a light clap of her hands. "Of course don't think that this is our only training session. We've got a long way to go before we try to get Weiss."
The bakeneko placed her hands on her hips.
"How much do you know about this land anyway?"

Chris shrugged lightly.
"Not much..."
"Just what Nathan had told me, mentioning the guardians and the queen and the slayer that eventually killed him."
He smirked at Cat.
"Were not going to get good enough fighting droids, so we will have to fight eachother and push ourselves to the limit and then some."

Lein bounced from foot to foot laughing to himself as he studied Weiss being safe for now "Why Weiss have you been training you have certainly gotten stronger and sneaker." He then began to giggle "No matter sooner or later the piper is going to visit and you shall have to pay." He then gave a small wave "Ta for now my rival." He began to walk off towards the forest humming to himself.

"However..."
Chris continued.
"We can't afford to be seen training if they study our fight they can determine our weaknesses or simply ready themselves in order to stay a step ahead."
Chris looked down at the ground as he thought.
"As for this area, building the guild back would be nice but we dont have a group large enough to even have a reason to rebuild aside from memories for you."

"Don't worry about rebuilding the guild. It'd only bring the attention of unwanted guests." Cat chuckled. "Tomorrow we meet up here for training okay?" Cat turned around and left.

Animosa swam looking when suddenly the energy level disappeared completely. She surfaced from the water breathing heavily looking around when she looked around the water was red stained with blood. Animosa coughed and began to panic when an arm reached down and pulled her out of the surface and slung her to land. Animosa landed with a thump and she looked back at the lake and it was clear and blue again and she looked at her body smeared with blood.
She coughed holding her hands together and energy licking off of them and she was dry before her was icy blood vial. "What the fuck...." She said looking around as she saw the raven now perched on the vial he dropped a pocket watch and the woman grabbed it she opened it and saw a spiraling black sphere moving from the lake. "Your telling me that power energy is able to move around." The raven nodded as Animosa hung her head low.
"Do you want to sign a contract?" A voice asked and Animosa looked around unable to find the source. "In exchange for your services I can supply you a protecter. All you have to do is to figure out why all of the sudden the soul of Talos started moving and how Weiss became more powerful. And give this information to the Guardians." Animosa looked at the raven wide eyed. "You don't need to worry you will survive, Recreating Spirit. Your protector will keep you alive till this ordeal is over."
Animosa stared tilting her head sideways, "You only want me to research the situation. But first who are you?" She asked and the voice chuckled she was surrounded.
"I am the one reason you came to this lake." the voice rang
"Why should I help you?" She asked.
"Because you need protection. Now sign your name." the voice asked a black book appearing in her lap and a pen in her hands. Slowly she signed her name and the book lit up brightly as it disappeared.

Weiss shook his head as all the people who once were gazing at him were now gone. He looked around and smiled softly as he started to see cloaked figures with a hunch like stature appear and glide along the rubble toward him. One of the figures spoke with an electonic type voice.
"Master Weiss, preparations are complete. All units are ready for tactical advance to other locations and are ready to prepare and establish small centralized base units." it reported.
"That won't be necessary. Tell The Corrupt to ready himself and to start the operation that I mentioned to him. Just speak of Black Feather and he will know what to do. You're dismissed. I've business to do here in the lands."
With that, the figures bowed oddly and ended up turning into black smokes that flew up into the air and went in different directions of each other, disappearing from sight.
Weiss himself began to lose his form, turning into nothing but a cloud of Cyan coloured smoke, whisking his way away from the city and into the forestry. |

Chris made his way towards the large meadow once more, he sat down upon a stump hanging his head, he looked down at his metal legs sighing slightly.
"What was the point in keeping me alive...I'm almost as much machine as I am light demon now."
Chris paused as he felt several different auras rise around the land several near Weiss's location and another one alone...
"Were running out of time..."

"A machine or not, you are alive and you are apart of the great life force," Cat spoke up as she joined Chris. "You brothers kept you alive not because there was a 'point' or 'purpose' but out of love." The woman set her hand on his shoulder, giving a smile. "We don't have much time, you're right. Let's get started."

A dark figure stood on a rooftop in a large city within War.
His arms folded as he looked around the area.
"So......the time has come, this land is about to wake up retuning to its roots."
Zeke looked up at the auras within the area, his eyes shining slightly.
He chuckled lightly.
"So it's come to this."
Another man with red hair walked out behind Zeke.
"It was only a matter of time...after all this is War."
