Lein grinned "Sasune it is cause it sound nice and not so Sasune I am here but I have been killed most recently as you most likely saw from here. When my body is destroyed I basically become a ghost for a short time till my new body has a chance to finish regenerating." He then shook his head "Oh don't get me wrong I can still be killed but if I told you how then it wouldn't be a secret now would it."

The girl supposed her head with her hand, pressed firmly against her chin, her little friend perched alertly on her shoulder, eying the ghost-man with both curious and fierce eyes,
"I would suppose so." She giggled, removing her hand to run it through her bangs,
"So, Lein. May I ask why that man destroyed your body, then?" She tilted her head, lips drawn together, and legs crossing over one another in the bush behind her. Blaze wrapped his tail protectively around Sasune's neck. |

Lein giggled and spun in a circle "Cute dragon. As for Weiss and Me lets make a long stroy short. I don't like him, He don't like me, I try to stop him and He kills me. Which puts a major dent in magic stock which I have to replenish now." He then smiled at Blaze "You know I also have a dragon. He eats all my bread. I dont know why but I have to restock over couple of hours."

Sasune adverted her eyes to the small lizard, her eyebrows furrowing to an amused scowl,
"Silly Blaze, what's the matter?" She lifted one hand to stroke the top of his head, earning a small pout from the tiny creature. The female chuckled,
"A dragon that eats bread. I've never heard of that before." She looked back up to the boy, irises laced with both curiosity and awe,
"Well, perhaps you should stop trying to stop him. Make things a lot easy on the both of you, I'm sure." |

Lein smiled "Oh he's mostly human now and I dont interfer I just wish he would leave me a loaf or two insted of eatting all of them himself." He then looked in to Sasune eyes as his began to glow a bright purple "Now are there any questions you would like to ask?"

"How did you come upon this place?" She gestured around them with a flick of her wrist, looking back into his eyes with a childish smile,

Lein then slowly floated to the ground and scratched his head "My story dear child hasn't even began to write itself yet not for another 36,474 more year. You see War takes place in my past or at least one of them. Lets just say a quest for revenge made me seek out power which brought me here after many years training to be a ninja and many more years as a mad scientist."
He then took a deep breath " Along the ways I fought Gods, Goddess and Devils. Became one, lost my powers, was pittied on by one who thought I was cute and gave me a fraction of her power."
He then leaned back till he fell over looking up at the sky "I have a two sons whom I haven't even met yet and still so much more to come."

"It must be terrible," Sasune paused, trying to place her words just right. "Living in the past, after you have touched upon the future."
She stared down at him, her lip finding its way in between her teeth. To live in a world that has already occurred sounded both painful and extraordinary at the same time. Able to change the future, or to simply re-live all the beautiful moment of your past. The thought had a bittersweet taste to it, and caused a wondrous feeling to erupt in Sasune's stomach,

Lein grinned at Sasune "You might want to define your question child. How far ahead do you want to know because theres alot to know and with that much it could take years." He then shrugged "Hell for all we know me just being here could have changed everything that was once called my past. Then again My past only cover up to the begining of Neo Earth. "

Far away from the recently destroyed city, amongst grassy hills and rocky cliffs, there was a light. It came from a cavern that slanted back into one of these stoney cliff sides. The light was a pale and sickly glow, as it had reflected many times along the smooth blue-gray stones of the cave from deep within. At the back of this place were metal tables covered with beakers of various liquids. Runes could also be seen burned deep into the walls, and around the corners of the table.
Away from the tables at the moment, Jennifer sat in a black desk-chair with wheels on the bottom. She was leaning back, thinking over the last day's events as she stared blankly at the smooth ceiling. Jennifer was upset on missing opportunity to truly examine the power from before. That was not all, however. she was tired of this place.
A droplet of water that had seeped out of some unknown imperfection in the ceiling pooled above Jennifer, and fell. Splashing against her cooled face, it made Jennifer blink. The dim light beneath her scaly skin was set ablaze as she shot out from her seat. How dare they give her this decrepit pit as a base of operations as she visited this land! It was no Laboratory. It was not even a living space! Just a chair and table.
Looking across the table, Jennifer focused her anger on one of the many items littered across the table. The contents in the clear vial began to bubble fiercely. No matter how much she put into it, though, Jennifer could not cause any other reaction from the liquid, or container. As upset as she might be, she could not help but feel they had done at least something right.
Swooping across the small room at the back of the cave, Jennifer snatched up her staff and made way outside. Using the natural light of Salamader race, she traveled back into the forest, burning a pathway as she went. Jennifer needed a distraction for now, something to stop her fuming.

"Neo Earth?" Sasune edged herself forward, her eyes wide, "What is that?"
She looked over her shoulder and huffed, pulling out her entire lower half from the bush, sitting cross-legged in front of the ghost. Her black tank top stood out against her pale skin, a pale white skirt that reached her knees draped over her lap. Her boots were laced to the top of her shins, and a white ribbon standing out against the dark leather on her left ankle. She placed her hands in her lap and smiled at Lein, awaiting his explanation.
An innocent smile graced her lips. |

Lein chuckled "As it sounds a New Earth. You see a long time from now this planet will be destoryed and from it a new planet will for and my ancestors will find it some time later and settle down on Neo Earth." He then hicuped and smiled "Yep bodies back now." He then sat up and looked around "Man I hate being a ghost."

"You.. hiccup when your new body is ready?" She blinked, sitting back slightly and allowing Blaze to crawl forward, scaling his way down her chest and stomach, resting on the top of her thigh.

A strange figure walked the forest trail. The woman was six foot tall, tall for a human female but normal for her species. Her raven hair was messy, her bangs mostly covering her red eyes. She was draped in clothing of warm colors, the bottom half of her face even covered. Following behind her was a red vardo, pulled by a horse-like animal. The wagon was lined with gold wind chimes, which jingled quite loudly all together. On the sides of the vardo was a large sign painted with yellow gold, crimson lined letters "Matryoshka".

Lein nodded "Yes its my bodies way of saying 'oh look I can breath again' as for the change short version MAGIC long version Long mystical incantaions of ritual white and black magic with a bit of runes so that the spells stay stable enough and only take the resources that are need to form a new body that is preprogrammed into a complex web of spell linked to the stopping of my heart."

Chris breathed heavily watching the attack being taken by Cat.
His eyes widened slightly.
"What the hell...I put most of my energy into that attack..."
Chris smirked lightly giving a friendly look.
"So...this is the power of an original...Nathan hid a few things from me..."
Chris put his right hand behind his head standing up straight.

Animosa sighed rubbing a hand ruffling her crazed everywhere bed head as she balanced the staff along one shoulder with the raven perched on the end of her staff staring ahead. "Don't see how a bloody bird is going to protect me from anything besides bugs and small prey." She said looking around for any clues to what Weiss maybe up to or for the other guardians. Maybe she could ask someone about them.

"I'm surprised I came out of your blast with nothing more then a few scratches and bruises." Cat said, still trying to catch her breath. The woman was motionless for a moment before falling onto her her butt. "I'd never really done something like that before but I'd seen my mother do it, so I thought I'd try," Cat said referencing to the late nekomata. "That took a lot of energy out of me," She said hanging her head with a sigh. "Ohhh I need to get better," she groaned before looking up at Chris. "You're incredibly strong Chris, I'm proud to be training with you."

Chris smiled lightly looking down at the floor.

"Same," She laughed. "We're going to have to work even harder next time."
"While I haven't been training for battle, I've been training my life energy, or "chi" as it's called." Cat leaned back, looking at the roof. "I'm not quite the same cat as Nathan knew me. It's hard to explain." She laughed nervously. "Any who..."
