Arashi practically sprinted backwards slamming Vash into the wall of the cave and dragging Catelyn with him, he reeled his head back and swung it forward only to stop an inch away from her face. He rested his headband on her forehead so their eyes were about an inch away from eachother. "Stop. Now." he sighed, "I have four salmon, we can each have one and you two look rather hungry."

Catelyn let go of Arashi, her eyes staring defiantly into the man's. Vash's claws would dig into his flesh as she was pinned. Catelyn stepped back, pulling Arashi with her to let her friend go. Nothing was worth this. Getting into an altercation at the risk of injury was not in the plan. "Vash," She growled as the black feline shifted into a smaller form, the size of a house cat. "Let's go," Catelyn announced, sheathing her blade and turning around to leave. Vash shook her fur and followed after the woman.

Arashi sighed and set up a spit with a fish on it, "The food will be waiting here if you change your mind. I do apologize sincerely for any trouble I have caused." He laid his vest out to dry on the floor of the cave and set his pack down taking out a book to read before sitting down with his back up against the cave.

Vash would rush up behind Catelyn, climbing up her back to rest on her shoulder. "Why are we leaving with our tails between our legs?" Vash would question as they headed out into the rain. The cat seemed perfectly balanced as she licked her paws. One eye open and on Catelyn as she came down the rocks. "Not worth it," Catelyn said as she hopped onto the ground floor, causing Vash to fly forward onto the ground quite clumsily. "If we sustained injuries, we would have to look for medical help most likely and we don't have any money," Catelyn would go on to explain, "A leader knows when to retreat." Vash laughed, hopping back onto the woman's shoulders. "What an insult to us, to expect us to eat with them," Vash scoffed.

Apaichi closed his eyes at Arashi and vanished reforming infront of Vash and Cat. "Im sorry for his behavior I only met him recently, I simply wanted to introduce myself." A strange light would cover the two healing any pain they might currently have as Apaichi pulled his scythe off of his back and leaned on it to keep from falling over.

Arashi was pleased the man left, he could now smoke, eat, and meditate in peace. When he was done he would go find someone else to bother, possibly the other two he saw. The male and the female. They seemed to be collecting something.

Catelyn and Vash jumped at Apaichi's sudden appearance. The woman's hand back on her blade. Listening to the man she bared her fangs, Vash was also on edge. As the light came over them, Catelyn would shake her body, trying to be rid of whatever was happening. The only magic she had witnessed in life her would come from her clan's shaman and blade she wielded. "What in the hell did you do?" Catelyn spat, annoyed these men still harassed her and Vash. "He is your companion yet you did nothing to stop him, you and he are one in the same. We left the cave, now you would do best to leave us," Catelyn ranted, "My name is Catelyn and my companion is Vash. Make your...introduction and leave us."

Apaichi looked at the two before giving a friendly smile. It was just a healing ability of mine sadly I can only use it for so long, I suck at healing but I'm good enough with the basics." He put his scythe away being able to stand once more. "Very well I shall introduce myself again. I am Apaichi a light demon, a clan that....was once great." "It was a pleasure meeting the both of you I'll take my leave now as you wish." Apaichi turned to walk off into the forest.

Catelyn let out a breath of relief as Apaichi finally left. She watched him go, dropping her guard finally. "I've heard about them," Vash commented, "never thought I'd meet one." Catelyn turned her head to look at Vash. "What? who them?" "A light demon," Vash said licking her other paw, "like he said: 'Once great'." Catelyn rolled back her shoulders. "You're heavy," she said walking in the same direction as before. "Says the person i let ride me like a damn common horse," Vash retorted. Catelyn laughed, heading back for the lake.

After meditating Arashi was always full of energy, he threw on his vest slung his pack over his shoulder and bounded out the cave. He was heading in the same direction as the girl but to avoid conflict him leaped as far as his body would allow him without expanding energy at his feet. He landed three or four yards ahead of them, tucked and rolled as he hit the ground and continued running, straight across the lake he went until he spotted the male and female pair again. This time he'd approach with caution.

Catelyn halted seeing as the man known as Arashi appeared once more. She groaned something in her native tongue, calling him some sort of insult. The woman spun around, now actually going to direction Apaichi went. Not on purpose really, it skipped her mind really. She just didn't want to tango with Arashi.

Apaichi would walk along side a river soon reaching a large cliff, a waterfall fell from several feet up splashing into a small pond below, the pond would continue to flow into the river and down stream, it was a rather beautiful area, Apaichi sat down at the edge thinking about his conversation with the woman, only one sentence would repeat itself over and over again. "A once great race." He stared blankly at the water lost in thought.

"Keep going bitch!" A gruff voice would yell in the area around Apaichi. This voice was followed by a yelp of pain. A group of male voices could be heard laughing. They would soon enough come crossing into Apaichi's veiw in the distance. It was a group of three males, demons based upon their red skin. Their hair was wild, their outfits like radical bikers. They were following after two others, a male and female. Both cat 'demons' like Catelyn. One of the male demons would kick the male cat in the back sending to the ground, "We didn't pay for slow slaves! Get yer ass movin!'

Apaichi stood up upon seeing this act of violence, his eyes didn't seem as calm as normal, which for Apaichi was rare. He wasted no time in going over to the group. He payed no mind to the men who kicked the cat demon down and he slowly helped him up putting his left arm over his shoulder.

"Yo brooo!" One of the demons would shout, laughing. "What are youuu doing man?" All three would laugh together. The female cat would look at Apaichi, not sure what to think. This momentary distraction caught one of the demon's attention. He kicked in the back of the knee, causing her to buckle but not fall. "Ahahahah!! Dumb ass cats!"

Apaichi slowly took the male cat over to a tree and sat him down. He stared down at the ground moments before the man kicked the woman. His anger spiked slightly as his image vanished reforming inches behind the man and sending his fist towards the man back, were it to hit the man would be propelled forward landing a good distance off. Apaichi remained in a fighting stance as he stared at the men, his stare was so cold if one were to look at them for to long they would think they may freeze.

The drunken demons would cackle, "What the hell are you doin mmaaann!?" When the one was sent flying forward, the other two froze up. "What the fuck?" Now they were angry and finally got the picture of what was happening. "What the hell man!!" One would sloppily try to punch Apaichi now.

Knocking a nail firmly through a wooden plank into a signpost behind it, Kikato wiped sweat off his brow with the sleeve of his black shirt. Stepping back, the tall man gave a heart-filled grin at the sign he had put up. A well-sanded wooden rectangle hung between other signs telling the locations of the few villages and single city nearby. To the center-left was an image of a fruit basket, with the words "The Heart and Soul Cafe" painted neatly across the rest of the plank in white with a blue background for the whole thing. It was pointed at one end to display the direction of the Cafe. It was nearly dawn, and Kikato had gone out several miles along each road near his business in the middle of the night to put up his signs. Hooking the hammer between a set of overlapping belts around his waist, Kikato turned to where the sign pointed. One of the closer signposts to the Cafe, he could catch a glimpse of the large building situated between sets of crossroads and near this side of the mountain range. It would be opening for the day very soon, and he was finished hanging all the signs, so he made his way back too it.
It may have seemed an odd place to put a cafe, not even near a town. However, it's location greeted members entering these lands, or wished them a farewell. With so many intersecting roads, and it's title as the only building along the boarder it brought in enough business. Kikato passed through the usually inviting door that now had a "Closed" sign hanging from it at the moment. Entering the small brick hallway just before the waiting room sealed off the cold mountainous air, replacing it with only a cool temperature that awaited him within the Cafe. Kikato glanced along the walls, checking for picture frames that were out of place, spider webs, or fallen pieces of decor. Satisfied, the man glided through the second door and into the waiting room. He repeated the examination throughout the entire first floor, taking the time to greet the employees and guests who were early risers. When any mistakes from the previous day were ironed out, the man headed upstairs to his room for a change of clothes and shower before The Heart and Soul Cafe opened for the day.
The kitchen was already busy; Rufus was checking the food storerooms for contents passing their time to eat and in need of disposal, and Cayla was busy guiding fellow staff in the preparation of morning meals for the guests and employees. The busy area was full of communication between staff without becoming overpowering buzz of noise.

Apaichi would duck down to avoid the fist as he turned his back to the man grabbing his arm and bring it towards his shoulder he proceeded by doing an over the shoulder throw. ((I guess that's dodge able until I were to grab him.))

The demon would slame right into the to other, knocking him down too. As they recovered, the third demon would return, charging at Apaichi while letting loose a loud battle cry. Suddenly though, his eyes would widen and he'd slow down, falling to his knees. A flaming sword plunged through his stomach. The demon would fall onto his face, Catelyn kicking him down as she pulled her blade from his gut. The woman stared at Apaichi as the fallen demons would instead of attacking, retreat. Running away as Vash, the size of a tiger, pounced on them both. Pinning them beneath her weight as they struggled and pleaded.
