Mercy's music suddenly stopped, though she only pulled the ocarina from her lips slightly as she didn't move to look at Apaichi. "Light demon, you smell..." She paused not sure whether it was weakness she smelt, or fear it was convoluted in his body chemistry... "Like you lost something important." She said as she started to bring the instrument to her lips. "My name is Mercy, I would keep my distance if I were you." She said though her head was turned down her eyes were a bright red, though she wasn't hungry, she still craved demon blood.

Tidus smirked lightly feeling the aura put off by Havoc, the dark aura...something felt off about it. "I only stopped by to compliment you on your...well..." Tidus chuckled darkly as he stepped forward, a large amount of aura shot forth rivaling Havoc's own aura. "I'll just quit the act. I'm here to kill you. nothing personal, you would just make a great addition to my army."

Havoc smirked her own aura simply redirected Tidus's to the side the combination cause the ground to tear and dirt to fly off to the side. "You come here to silence the Demon Queen?" She said pulling her hands from Alchem and walking toward Tidus, her body seemed to melt away leaving behind a walking silhouette. "Most have to file the proper papers." She said as her silhouette started to look as though it is a flame rippling in the air as energy buzzed, and the demon shot forward with blinding speed her hand turning into a very real point aimed for Tidus's heart.

The man made his way through the forest, clothes still slightly damp, but the thought didn't even seem to cross his mind as he walked casually along, hands in his coat pockets. He carried no weapons on him to the naked eye, no swords... no guns, yet he acted like it was all perfectly fine. "Mmmm... I wonder.... where I am." he mumbled to himself as he glanced around, his expression seemed curious but his body was tense, as if expecting some weird creature to pop out of the trees. He frowned, he couldn't see anything from down here, but if he went higher... someone might notice him. He did want information, but what if he was found by.... something he didn't want to find him?
Too risky, if he just kept walking... he was bound to run into someone. The man, well... he looked more like a teenager, perhaps 18 years of age.

Shade rested upon an unmarked grave, picking the petals off of freshly picked lavender. It was a scent that felt so natural to him. The taste of copper, the smell of death, all things that allowed him to feel some kind of humanity.

Garrett handed Apaichi the mug. "She's hard to predict." He went over by the room's entrance. "It's nice to see you too.. How've you been?"

To enter the lion's den was to stare death in the face. It required strength and courage beyond measure. The mark of a hero, and a step towards that for Kain. It was easy for him to think of this, but still he stepped slowly into the room. There was no point in running now, yet anxious fear still gripped him. As soon as he could Kain placed a wall to his back. He forced a smile, and nodded his head in the general direction of the others. "Thank you for this. I have eaten in days. This forest is larger than I ever could have imagined!"
He observed the room, though he was wary to keep both people in sight at all times. It was larger than any he room he had entered thus far, save for the entrance to the Guild. Lounge chairs rested near a crackling fireplace. High shelves filled with books of various sizes and colors covered a corner, and stretched nearly half the wall of each side. The room had less decoration than the hallways, with only a rug that covered nearly the entirety of the in multiple dim, restful brown and blue hues. There was another doorway on the right wall from where Kain had entered. It lay open, and Kain could see just beyond the corner a dark sack with food and candies spilled haphazardly on the floor. It was hard to look away from that, and act as if he couldn't see it, but crossing the room to get it without appearing overly suspicious or exposing his back to these demons seemed impossible.
The man seemed distracted. Kain took the time to get a better look at him, now that he was not obscured by the woman. He wore light clothing considering the temperatures in all black with gold embroideries. Kain's eyes were drawn to a blade resting at his hip. It had not been the first time he had seen a sword, but they were a rare thing to see on anyone but a city guardsmen of caravan guard. Those he had seen on any other than the city watch had been bonded with wire so they could not be drawn while within the city as well. He shook his head, and tried to clear his thoughts. He would have to be very careful indeed..
As if drawn by something, the man left without another word. What he might be up to was a frightening thought. Of course there was no way Kain could have prevented his leaving, not in this situation. Kain ran his fingers through his hair and licked his dry lips. "Where can I find some food, if you don't mind?"
Sword striking down one of the crowd of men surrounding him, Shin brought his buckler up to repel another's strike. It would be difficult, but he would carve a path for this woman's freedom if he had too. He maintained a watch of her, even as she decided that leaping above him was a good idea. She had impressive strength, and was probably not human, he decided. He returned a faint smile; it was good that she did not have to be watched quite as closely as he thought at first. Still, even this mob of men would take time to remove. He was not so sure she would live if she stayed, and that he would leave without injury either way..
Samantha felt listened to the man's tale with the patience of a saint, though her cane thumping against the ground every few seconds said otherwise. Her face smoothed to an expressionless mask while she listened. It sounded bogus to her. She was not so surprised this stranger would lie, but as her newly found 'friend' it stung to think he might tell her something he knew was not true. Perhaps it was a game to him, though. The silver-tongued devil wished to weave tales. It could be fun to see how far it would go. "Whyever would such a thing be here, though?"
Dammit! Rei pressed her back against a wall, sagging against it until she was sitting. Whatever this thing was, it seemed to be playing with her. She gathered her knees in her arms. Clinging to the warmth left in her stomach, Rei turned her head up. She was out of her right mind it seemed, to converse with this thing. Really, though, was there any other choice now? The situation felt hopeless. "We are in an abandoned forward Mørket Förnya laboratory. I was running from a fire when I stumbled across you." Rei's throat and lungs stung as she entered a coughing fit. She settled her forehead against her crossed arms, looking much like an angular ball. Her voice was just loud enough to hear beyond the muffling of her body. "I just want to leave this place.."
Cynthia Poet strode along dark and wide stone halls with elegance. To either side her armored guardians rose their greatswords in salute. Shadows played at their polished silver armor, nearly obscuring all but the jagged silver horn protruding from the fine design of each helmet. They were twice as tall as she was, yet every one of them would give their life for their queen. Unlike these knights, Cynthia did not have the look of royalty or grandness, even here. She wore a nondescript gray shirt and pants, with vibrant blue shoes.
The hallway opened into a massive chamber. More knights lined the walls as still as statues, and yet more stood watch on a floor above. The chamber was undecorated save for a single stone chair built out of the wall on the opposite sight of the entrance. Cynthia sat in that chair when she came to it, crossing one leg over another, and lounging her head against the palm of her left hand. She frowned, the motion playing in a peculiar fashion with the long diagonal scar across her nose. How had that little thief gotten away?

Tidus brought his left hand up acid shot out at Havoc just seconds before the point made contact with Tidus's hand, in order to slow it down he would grab the point, the point still managing to stab through his hand, a green color would leak from the area of contact. At first one might just think the strange liquid was just goo, but if his primary attack had made contact with Havoc, she would soon realize it was far from that as the acid began to eat away at the areas of contact. He would jump back ripping his hand loose from the point as a mixed trail of blood and acid followed him. "You really should learn to study your opponent before rushing into battle..."

Boran kept up a steady pace as he made his way through the forest, his head swiveling around looking up between tree branches and into bushes before returning to his feet to make sure he wouldn't trip. His body felt tired, worn out, but he forced himself to keep going. Stopping in the middle of the woods wasn't too smart, at least he could find a meadow or some kind of open land so he could see if someone was approaching him.
During his temporary distraction as his head turned to look behind him, he stepped forward only to find his foot met no ground other than the back end of his heel. He snapped his head back around as he noticed he had almost just walked right over a cliff. Rocks crumbled from where his foot touched the ground and rolled down the brown, rocky face. He sighed, that was close. He had to be more careful. Borän crossed his arms as he frowned, he could always find a way down or... well... perhaps not now.
He needed to rest, regain his strength. Sighing, he took a seat, his back to the cliff as laid down on the grass.

Apaichi only smiled lightly as Mercy threatened him. "You have a strong will power huh?" He then looked over to Garrett. "I've been doing rather well, I hope all is well in the city?" He questioned taking the mug as it was given to him. Although he had left the room Apaichi had exceptional hearing as Kain questioned. "It's lying on the floor, I'm sure you seen it don't worry it's bagged up, help yourself!"

As the army continued to be struck down Their bodies would begin to turn into a green liquid as it sizzled The woman looked down as her eyes grew wide. "Acid!" She shouted before attempting to force her way out of the army that had surrounded them The army had planned this as they went.

"The city is as good as it gets after what happened." Repairs to the destruction had already been made. Life for everyone who lived there was the norm. He opened the book he cleaned off earlier and a cloud of dirt from unopened pages forced him to cough. Upon the third page there were subtle hints that led him to believe he was a holding history book. Especially the title: "Ancient History of WAR."

Vash's eyes drifted away from Kain and onto the newcomers as she followed after Apaichi. A male and female. One human, one...something she didn't recognize. The male seemed to know Apaichi already, the female seemed to be aggressive with a bit of formality. A strange thing, whatever she was. The murky smell of blood hung about her. "Thank you Apaichi," she'd speak up finally, "for telling me the news...My spirit mourns with you." The woman directed her glance toward the ongoing fire. "But My goal remains unchanged. If Cat is alive, I need to find her. Do you have any idea where she is?"

Havoc shadowy form broke apart as the acid broke out reforming to its original state. Though her hand formed back and fell off onto the ground. "I do not take well to those who enter my place and try to kill me. So please forgive me for rushing in." She said as the shadowy tendrils flew from her aura and struck out each covered with tiny hooks that would snag away flesh with every touch.

Mercy ignored the comment about her will, she was dangerous especially to those close to her. She brought the ocarina to her lips and began to play a low haunting tune. She thought that Garrett would be the first to accept her but he stood off which threw her off most males would throw themselves at her, but not here... Maybe that is why she keeps returning here. She listened to the one known as Kain move for food, trying to sneak in the guild even.

Tidus would push back flying backwards through the air, his eyes darkened with a purple aura, his image vanishing from sight as he appeared a distance behind Havoc. "Only trying to help you out from making further mistakes is all my dear." He would bring both of his hand forward a strange purple fog shot forth covering the area, the fog was more of a toxic gas. "I'm sure you have heard of chemical warfare before...this land is soon to understand that term all to well."
---------- Apaichi looked at Garrett as he opened up the book, he soon turned to Vash upon her questioning him regarding the whereabouts of Cat, he simply shook his head. "I'm sorry but I have only recently returned aswell the one you need to speak to is named Deandra." He then looked over at Garrett. "I'm sure he would take you to her."

Alchem watched the two and jumped back as they began fighting. His eyes darted between the two as he bit his lower lip in anticipation. Soon a flurry of cards erupted behind the small male, the tall figure of Xenetine standing behind him as he grabbed the boy and lifted him up, jumping back and holding him in a strong embrace as he stood atop the gazebo that was previously a relaxtion spot as the toxic gas erupted around the area. Alchem stood quiet, understanding why Xenetine came to take him and leave Havoc. It was for his own selfish gain, to gain rank and of course to keep him alive for once Father G decided to show himself again and attack the land for his own control. Sighing lightly he watched as the two went at it, a stinging tear watering his left eye. His gloved hand reached into his bright red coat and rustled about for a few moments before pulling out old yellow stained papers with black ink writing on them. Around the edges of the pages there were charred markings indicating that they were survivors of some sort of fire. He offered the papers to the old woman for her to glance over and examine, a smile on his face. "Because these papers talk about this relic being in this city as I've stated before. It's signed by a one 'Marcus Maximillion' a chiropractor of sorts in the city that was once well known it seems back in the prosperous days of this abode." he explained simply.

"Deandra...?" That was a name she defiantly didn't know. WAR was always full of new faces, so perhaps she shouldn't be surprised. After all, look at her company. The tune of the ocarina filled the room. Perhaps it foretold the future. Of who or what, Vasya couldn't know. The woman's eyes were shifted to Garrett now. A handsome young man the further she inspected. Something definitely charismatic about him but something else off putting. Add in her prejudice of humans and there you had an uncomfortable werecat. Despite not being human, and with the abilities that far surpassed an average one, Vash was wary of them. They were fickle things. Unstable. The tiniest thing could set a human off, no matter how kind they seemed, and nothing good ever happened. "I can go myself, if you'll allow, and save you the trouble."

The text was small, and there were too many names used to remember. It got boring and hard to follow. After reading the next few pages, Garrett closed the book. More dust flew out from the rush of air. It wasn't until then that he noticed the melody being played by Mercy, which sounded eerie and of horror. His attention shifted to all dark spots and shadows in the room, just in case there was something terrifying lurking within them. Without looking, he heard Deandra's name asked as if it were a question and felt he had to answer, "Deandra is the head of a company known as Album. I work with her."

"I see..." Vash's voice trailed off, her mind whirling in thought. It seemed her old friend was working with all kinds of people now. Head of a company...Vash kept her mockery silent. Best not to offend people you were trying to get help from after all. "Album..." Vash instead mumbled. An odd name for a company but it ringed a few bells. In a city she passed through, while at a bar, the woman had overheard talk about the company. Now things were starting to piece together. "That company, its headquarters are...in some newly named city..." Vash continued to mumble, "what was it...the city of white? or was it light?" Vash frowned, staring at the floor as she continued to think.
