The year is 2342 Aperture Science is still continuing to do what they must because they can and are looking for new test subjects, so come on in and partake in the wild adventure that ensue.

Hi I am Friendly Robotic Artificial Intelligence Surveillance System, or FRAISS for short. I am the computer intelligence that will be guiding test subjects through their test giving feedback and recording test runs to avoid future casualties. I hope we can be friends. <3

A computerized voice filled the chamber, "Welcome to APERTURE SCIENCE Enrichment Center. Please rise out of bed and head down the hallway to your left to begin testing. Please remember to put on your long fall boots so we can get accurate results unlike test subjects 303 through 311. Have a safe test." The voice said as the long fall boots became available on the 0312 table by the bed.

Test Subject 0312 wants to scream but finds out he can no longer speak because when he attempts to speak he just jumps. He frowns and puts on the boots and exits the room taking a left down the hall.

"GOOD NEWS test subject 0312, the panels in your test jump chamber have climbed up another twenty yards. Be sure to land on the launch panel so you can obtain your portal gun. Have a wonderful day of testing remember once your testing is complete you will receive 50 dollars and have helped move along the progress of science." FRAISS said as the sleek machine hung in the corner of the room videoing the test subject.

TS-0312 looked out at the chamber, not seeing any dangers he was unconcerned. He ran, jumped, and landed on the launch panel, which sent him flying into the air. He managed to grab the portal gun, created a blue portal on the wall and walking through, coming out of the premade orange portal.

"Excellent job. Please continue to the elevator to your next test. I hope you know how to jump because next we have corrective laser lines!" The FRAISS said as the doors to the elevator opened and once the elevator door opened again it would show at least 50 lasers going in all directions pointing to portal friendly surfaces and then to laser acceptors that will open the exit.

Rock Thompson's voice booms in the speakers, "Good job with that last one the one before you was the control group, the opposite wall was a hologram. Poor guy landed right in the shark tank. Anyways continue on."

TS-0312's eye's widened at this news Is they mad?! he thought as he saw the next chamber. He shot a a few portals and after five hours, finally got the door to be unlocked, suffering only minor laser burns.

FRAISS voice was heard again, "Wow that was impressive no one has survived in that room so long! Though most test subjects figured it out in twenty minutes, but whats a few outliers!" She said in a happy tone as the elevator opened and side walls began to advertise Turrets. "Also we have new friends for you to meet." As soon as the doors would open a turret spoke, "I see you." and sent an onslaught of whole bullets shooting 75% more bullet.

TS-0312 quickly shoots a blue portal below the the turret sending it into the last test chamber, out smarting FRAISS since there was no particle disruptor. He wipes the sweat from his brow and thinks Dear god I have to get out of here..

Rick's voice comes from the speakers "The lab boys just informed me that I should not have mentioned the control group. They're telling me I oughtta stop making these pre-recorded messages. That gave me an idea: Make more pre-recorded messages. I pay the bills here, I can talk about the control group all damn day."

FRAISS let out a giggle, "Sorry about that test being so easy let me adjust the chamber. "The Panels raised up around TS-0312 placing him in a pit. Along the pit doors opened revealing the portal friendly surface that can be reached from the top . The pit doors formed mirror images on either side each loaded with a turret. "Happy testing." FRAISS said happily.

TS-0312 quickly shoots a portal beneath him and on on the portal friendly surface above him. What've I gotten myself into he then proceeds to walk through the test chamber and waits for the elevator to take him to the next one.

The particle disruptor stood at the entrance of the elevator and the next test chamber opened up this time a glowing sign showed him the dangers to come. There was a picture for an acid river, turrets, and corrective lasers.

Before the subject stood a number of moving panels over the acid river with a crisscrossing corrective laser forming a wide rgid to knock him off the moving platforms. Toward the end three turrets can be seen on the left end and to their right long glass wall making the only exit behind the turrets.

TS shoots a portal in front of a corrective laser and one behind a turret making it explode and repeats for the other two turrets. Alright, I got this, all I have to do is cross the river he cautiously crosses the river jumping from platform to platform and finally makes it to the other side.

FRAISS voice appeared again, "Congratulation! You were the first person this month to exceed the quota time allotted for the test. Please preform the next test faster and remember! There is not a mean byte in my personality hardware!" the voice said as the particle disrupter. moved through the entire chamber and then the elevator opened.

TS-0312 noticed a panel missing from the wall and thought This is my chance! He ran over to the wall and slipped through from where the panel was missing to find himself in side the wall.
