27
?
Personality:
A sarcastic jokester at times, a quiet observer at others. It feels at occasions that there is no rhyme of reason to this man.

A kard rests along either hip, looped in a string knotted on his belt.
With a palm pressed against the earth, Kikato can call forth a dull green sword from the land itself. It was given to him as a permanent replacement, after many a broken sword.

Appearance:
( nakaayu.deviantart.com/ )
The man wears a thin, long-sleeved black shirt, dark brown jeans, and a old, beaten up dull brown cloak. Many belts loop around his waist and one another, and his boots are a thick, lace-less brown leather. A small satchel of sorts hangs under his cloak via a strap over his shoulder. Like the cloak, the bag is old and beaten up. It is held shut by twin clasps at either end, with the top folding overtop of the bag to reach these fasteners.
"Sidekicks"
Character name:
Rei.
Shin.
Race:
Human..?
Age:
Five.
Each looks around the age of 15 to 17.
Personality:
Rei harbors a more serious identity shared by Kikato when the time calls for it. Although not being one for joking around, Rei has a sarcastic and sometimes somewhat sadistic outlook.
Shin carries the more carefree side of Kikato. It is hard to keep this one down. Sometimes regarded as clueless or innocent, Shin has been known to drop this facade in moments that call for "serious time".
Brief History
It was not so long ago, really, when Kikato lost his first husk within the lands of War. The unexpected death did more than separate him from his shell of a body. His soul had begun to decay after so many years of swapping to bodies not fully realized to hold an old spirit. It tore into three pieces. The two largest became what are known now as Shin and Rei. For a time they roamed War away from one another, and the recuperating spirit of Kikato. In time, however, Kikato returned to War, brought his "children" of sorts back together, and returned to work.
Very little has been seen of either since their creation. For a time, it seemed they had simply rejoined Kikato again as a whole being. Now, however, the twin spirits return in their travels with the man.
Weapons and abilities:
Rei shares the lithe figure seen in some husks used in Kikato's past. Likewise, the girl wields familiar twin Kards. Exhibiting amazing speed, the flash step, and inhumane flexibility, it is almost always a guess as to where Rei's blades might tear through an enemies flesh.
Shin carries a dagger, but is far more likely to enter battle with his classic sword and buckler. Thin runes of gray and green run down the weapon's length. Similarly colored images of snakes circle the buckler, with a phoenix rising in the center. Through parrying, and a distinct eye for finding weakness in an opponent's stance, Shin's accurate strike might leave some wondering which is actually on the defensive. Shin has an influence over the air itself. Despite being well enough trained in it, the power is overall considered weak compared to a real sorcerer.
The pair both hide away their own sticks of celery.
Appearance:
( incit.deviantart.com/ )
Rei stands at 5'5". Several small balls hang by wire beside the bone-handles of Rei's sheathe-less Kards. These rest in two pairs, one pair upon each hip via a belt.
( midnight-sting.deviantart.com/ )
Shin stands at the height of 5'8". A simple sheathe rests against his hip which holds his blade, along with a buckler fastened tightly a foot below, on the sheathe.

Despite much change in a appearance, this is the twins in "Chibi form"
Often found floating behind and to either side of Kikato, this pair is only around four feet high. They can shrink further, gaining slightly more childlike features along the way. [/center]
