Apaichi smiled at Jaz as she approached them. "Why yes, I was only curious as to why you were watching us. I am Apaichi it's a pleasure to meet you."

Catelyn raised a brow, not sure what Apaichi was talking about with people watching them. "Well...I'm going to go north," she said looking at him perplexed, not sure what he was doing or why he was suddenly glowing. It must be a light demon thing, she thought dismissing it. When Jaz and Rave walked over, Catelyn simply looked both of them over. While the male had the smell of a bird and sulfur, a weird combination she thought, she couldn't think at all was Jaziline was. Possibly a demon or human?

Kikato descended the stairway fresh and prepared for the day. He wore the same sort of clothes, save for a brown apron draped over himself. He slid through the waiting room door and went right too the kitchen. It took only a moment to fill his arms with trays of food, and find the places for each plate. Bursting through the doorway, the man steadily and quickly placed the food for a variety of guests. His eye caught an..altercation, as he finished. In a moment he was between Apaichi and Catelyn. Settling a hand on the glowering mans shoulder, Kikato allowed his face to protrude from between the two at the bar area, looking also towards Rave and Jaziline. "Good day," His hushed tone was cool, announcing his presence in voice, after announcing it in soul. "Do we have any issues today?"

Rave who was sitting back in his chair tilted his head to the side. "Told you, you were looking to much into it." He said as Jaz glared back at him. "Sorry always have to watch your back around here. That and you are a light demon I am naturally obligated to feel threatened by you." She explained bowing her head slightly. "Pardon if I troubled you." She said toward Kikato obviously the chief. "I just wanted to make sure I was not causing trouble for these two." She said indicating Apaichi and Cat in a swift wave of the hand.

Catelyn turned around in her chair, so she could better see all those who surrounded her. Elise would come up, setting down the ordered food and taking the menus. Not wanting to be a bother, she just smiled and left. "No trouble here..." She said in a low voice, still oblivious to what was going on. Catelyn tried to offer a welcoming smile.

Apaichi stiffened a bit as a hand was placed on his shoulder, it bothered him slightly but he didn't let it be known. The aura around him slowly faded away to nothing as he turned around to look at Kikato. "Everything is fine, we were just talking with each other...sorry if it seemed any different." Apaichi never said it out loud but aside from Jaziline he had a feeling Kikato could see his aura.
He then looked over at Jaziline as she remarked about his race. "How do you know about light demons..." His smile faded away, it had been ages since most of his race was wiped out it was clear he had some anger closed up inside of him about the whole ordeal.

Grip tightening for a moment before finally being relinquished, Kikato grinned sheepishly as he brought his hands together behind his back. "Wonderful! Pardon the continuous intrusion, but is their anything I can do for you all?" Leaning back, the man fell against the bar, catching himself with his hands. Easing himself back against the wood, Kikato brought his hands back in front of him. He checked a pocket, bringing out a small notebook. Absently the man paged through the article, occasionally glancing up at the odd group as the rest of his Cafe began to fill.

"I am fine," Catelyn said speaking only for herself. She still clueless really as her eyes darted from Apaichi to Jaz. She'd start to slowly turn around in her chair, ready to eat her meal but stopped short, turning back to face Kikato. His scent was authoritive, something about his composure told her he was the owner. She bowed her head to the man with a smile, "This is a lovely...cafe you have here. Thank you for allowing myself and my companion to enter." Then Catelyn would turn around to look upon her meal. Eggs and sausage. She poked the scrambled eggs in confusion. She'd never seen eggs cooked in such a manner. With her hands the woman would pick the yellow lumps up and pop it into her mouth. The dining cutlery next to her plate was ignored. She really didn't know what they were.

The caravan slowly approached toward the Cafe. The slaves carrying the shipment of equipment began groaning of starvation and exhaustion. Sven could hear their moans and whimpers and to his annoyance he order the caravan to pull off to the side of the road just a bit a ways from the Cafe. He growled and opened his carriage door and stepped out, looking about his slaves and seeing they truly were starving and tired. He sighed and ordered them to stay put and motioned for Allender to come along with him. The two males walked over to the Cafe and walked in.
Sven scoped the interior of the Cafe and scoffed in disgust, it was no five star establishment, but it would have to do for them for the mean time. The two men waited in the waiting room patiently to be called upon for service.

"Threat detected." Rave chirped up as Jaziline turned to look at him. "Level?" She asked moving back toward him as he leaned back nonchalantly sipping his tea. "Right now a 3 but could escalate to a raging 87 so I would watch your tongue." He said talking about Sven and his companion that entered the establishment.

Apaichi looked away from the two before eating his meal. He listened to the two speak about "power levels" but it wasn't over nine thousand so he was content for now.

Brendan walked through the rain storm, water evaporating as it landed on his shoulders. He opened the door to the cafe and examined the rest of the building quickly before promptly sitting down, waiting to t be serviced. He brought his body temp down so the heat that radiated from him was much less noticable.

Staff members were prepared at the waiting room. One at a time they shuffled customers from there to one of the dining rooms. Soon enough, it would be Sven, Alleneder, and Brendan's turns. Each would be asked the usual questions on where to dine, and such.
"Thank you. I must say, I do enjoy this place, too." Kikato grinned as he thumbed through the small book as he added, "No need for such a remark. For the two of you, these doors would always be open. That is until your friend gets a temper and breaks something." Abruptly shutting the book, Kikato looked up at the group. His grin faded, replaced with a look complacent seriousness. "What brings you all around these parts? Bake-Neko, or is it Nekomata? Anyway..you certainly don't see many here. Well, besides those that assist me here. Likewise, a demon that glows with some holy light." The man glanced towards the others, choosing to save his words for the pair belonging to the brown room.

"Business," Catelyn quickly replied, biting into one of the sausages. Her ears momentarily twitched at the word 'Nekomata' but she was quick to realize it wasn't as she thought. The sandy blonde woman had her back to Kikato for the moment. Her eyes crossed over to the demon next to her, Apaichi. Holy light. Carelyn took another bite of her food.

Apaichi stared at Kikato as he questioned them. "I'm simply here for the food and as the woman said we are on a buisness trip. He smiled lightly before eating his food in order, beginning with the eggs.

Brendan indicated he would like a bar seat and a cup of hot coffee. He asked if a newspaper was available.

Sven and Allender turned their attention to the person that came to service them, Sven reached for his money pouch and pulled it off his belt, handing it to the person servicing him. "72 of your finest meals prepared as quickly as you can. My slaves hunger and a nice meal and a night's rest will give them the strength they need for us to be on our way. Try not to keep us waiting and keep the pouch, I can get a new one. Bring the meals outside to the caravan and tend to my people, I've things to do." he ordered as he turned around and left with Allender following behind him. The one armed man pushed the door open and walked outside, followed by his faithful servant.

Apaichi turned his head looking over towards the exit seeing the two men leave the building. His eyes to note of the mans single arm before he returned back to his meal.

Kikato nodded, smiling politely. His attention was caught by a waiter near the front end of the dining area who was motioning for him. "Business. It seems we share that." He eyed the room, his smile widening. "Forgive me again for the intrusion. Do enjoy your time here." Standing straight up, Kikato pocketed his workbook and left the company to return to Cafe's filling tables and orders.
Brendan was settled down at the small bar. Soon he was presented with a set of papers that ranged in date between two days ago, and six days ago, as well as a cup of coffee.
The number of guests was somewhat higher than usual. Still, Rufus had seen it packed tighter. He also had cooked under circumstances far worse than the stocked storerooms and well-kept kitchen. Despite all this the man was wary. An unusual and sudden amount of required meals had set the entire kitchen in a ruckus. Cayla did enough to get everything in line, but the surprise still left some young men and women fidgety.
The aging man washed sweat from his face, as well as grime from his hands. Looking up from a small sink, Rufus looked into a small mirror framed in pine and hung against the wall. He frowned, his double mimicking him without folly. Wrinkles and a hint of pock marks showed underneath his eyes. His white-blonde hair retreated ever so slightly from his forehead. With a sigh, Rufus turned away and left the rest room.
Meals were prepared with care, but also with a speed that represented the determination and respect that the kitchen held. Without it, none of them would have been employed. As the food was sent out the Cafe emptied of staff, at least half went to tend to those outside. There was a curiosity in the eyes of some.

Miles away from the northern city, a cloaked figure made its way towards a cabin within the forest. He pushed open the door and pulled a bag full of money out from the cloak throwing it on the table. "Another easy take, I only had to kill a few guards. Though I do feel sorry for them their best attack are those small weapons." He walked over to the couch and fell down as his hood fell off uncovering his brown hair and his blue eyes. Nathan sighed running his hand through his hair. "That should keep Chris fed for the next few months..."
