"It started out as just reports on the national news. Soon enough these stories started happening here at home. Eventually it all just went to hell. It's been about a year now, and "civilization" is pretty much nonexistent. There are still plenty of undead just walking around. The best way to "kill" the things is to stab them in the head. It doesn't seem like they really go on a full out run, but I've seen a few pick up some speed. I don't recommend getting bitten because you're basically effed afterwards. I hear it's best to stay in groups, its always nice to know someone's got your back after all, right? But either way, we all become one of them in the end."

Rules
1. No god-modding/power-playing

You might want multiple characters, because they aren't gods. It wouldn't be fun if everyone lived anyways. And yeah, controlling another person's characters is not cool.

2. No magic

If you get shot your character is basically screwed unless someone with medical know-how is near by, and still depending on where your shot, your chances are still slim.

3. Have a profile.

I don't care where you post it, just as long as you have it!
